Why this guide exists

Most students who leave school early didn't fail academically — they struggled with choices around alcohol, nicotine, or other drugs, and no one caught it in time. This guide takes about 20–25 minutes and answers the six questions parents ask most:

A group of college students sitting together on campus steps, talking and laughing
College is social by design — which is exactly why substance choices are rarely made alone.
Why it matters

"Nearly all college students face a conscious choice about whether to drink, smoke, or use other substances while pursuing their degree." This guide exists so that choice isn't made in a vacuum.
